Wellington Indoor Community Sports Centre - Sport

Project Brief

At the beginning of the year, Mainzeal commenced work on site for Wellington’s new indoor sports centre. It is a 12-court facility located on Cobham Park in Kilbirnie.

The focus of the sports centre will be on community sports and participation. It will provide quality playing and training facilities for netball, basketball, volleyball and other indoor sports for the Wellington community and schools.

The design includes seating for 1,000 spectators, meeting and social spaces, kitchen facilities, tournament control, and changing facilities and services.
