An extension and new wall was also built to increase the size of the Resource Room.

Due to adverse ground conditions caused by a high water table, the new learning centre was constructed on a floating slab. The buildings were timber framed with a colorsteel roof. Timber weatherboards were used on the exterior cladding to match the existing building along with aluminium joinery.

Autex wall linings in the shape of wave patterns were a feature for the internal walls.

Siteworks included forming the front entry ramp steps and gardens with concrete slabs for play areas, along with decks for bag racks.

Mainzeal worked closely with the school to ensure that disruptions to students and staff were kept to a minimum at all times throughout the construction period.
