Project Brief
The Botany Town Centre project was handed over just 19 months after Mainzeal took
possession of the site – a time frame made all the more remarkable by an
exceptionally wet spring season.
The project involved more than 200,000m3 site works , including 20km of reticulated
drainage and other services, and 80,000m2 of roading and car parks.
At peak times there were up to 1500 workers on site, erecting buildings covering
90,000m2.

The final three months had a major change of focus as more than 100 tenants arrived on site to undertake $25m worth of fit-outs to specialty stores.
The Mainzeal team integrated this massive volume of work into its base building programme without compromising an unmoveable completion date. To achieve this, the team developed co-ordination procedures and information management processes to make the fitting-out run more smoothly.
Mainzeal also developed tenant design criteria and fit-out guides, ensuring the work was successfully completed on time.
