Project Brief

Christchurch City Council invested in the Academy of Sport with a new high performance facility. Mainzeal transformed of the old squash courts and unused adjacent spaces into a high class centre for training New Zealand’s athletes.
Features of the new Centre include the endless pool, a chilled water pool and a hot water spa pool.
A generous training area includes a running track incorporated in the high spec floor.
A mezzanine floor was built to house the future offices and a testing lab area and office were built downstairs.
