BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY
Mainzeal is an industry leader in sustainability and has built many iconic sustainable buildings throughout New Zealand. We regularly take on Green Star projects - the cream of sustainable buildings.
Our ISO14001 Environmental Management System ensures that projects are carried out to the highest environmental standards.
Working at Mainzeal will give you exposure to cutting edge technology in some of New Zealand’s most ‘intelligent’ sustainable buildings while also building your knowledge and skills.
All staff complete our Introduction to Sustainable Construction course. Those who choose a technical career with Mainzeal will also complete a comprehensive training course in Advanced Sustainable Construction.
Our goal is to be New Zealand’s leading practitioner of truly sustainable construction.
APPRENTICE
When you join Mainzeal as a Carpenter Apprentice, you will be trained in practical and theory unit standards application as part of the New Zealand Qualification Authority framework for a Carpentry apprenticeship. Working on our project sites, you will learn how to operate and maintain construction tools and equipment. You will learn the value of safety personal protective equipment (PPE) and actively participate as part of a team of carpenters. You will go on to achieve the National Certificate in Carpentry and the Advanced National Certificate in Carpentry.
Getting paid while you learn gives you the opportunity to see how carpentry fits into commercial construction and can be the start of a career in Site or Project Management.
