With this support we are achieving our purpose of ‘Building Certainty’ for our client’s that ensures the project metrics of cost, time, quality and function, upon which our Client’s business case metrics are based, are being achieved. This in turn helps us to continuously improve our competitive advantage and secure a diversified portfolio of projects across the country.
Our future of bidding a number of projects where we are either working with the project sponsor, or working with the technology partner to win the target infrastructure project as a member of the turnkey consortium is very positive.
This broadening of our market coverage has enabled us to bid for projects in the power and water sectors of the economy. This wider industry coverage has gained us access to a pipeline of projects that is offsetting the downturn in our more traditional markets of health, education, retail, industrial and commercial.
Our focus on Green initiatives is also bearing fruit, as our number of trained Green Star Accredited Professionals grows and the recognition from the industry by the awards we are winning. We are working with our consultant partners to drive value into our build performance to deliver sustainable build quality. We are delighted to have had our commitment to sustainability being recognised by the Ministry of Environment, which saw us receive a Green Ribbon Award in the category ‘Businesses Making a Difference’ and our engagement of the Soverign House project that also took a premier award at the NZPC 2009 Awards.
