Mainzeal

Peter Gomm

Chief Executive Officer

In this fast-changing business environment, there is no doubt that Mainzeal’s future, and indeed the future of the entire construction industry, lies with a completely new procurement method – an integrated delivery model that is driven by the client’s needs from start to finish.

This approach brings together the best team for the job – across all industry codes – and provides enormous spin-off:

  • sustainable design becomes a key driver
  • buildings fit the client’s needs, rather than vice versa
  • proven cost savings
  • great certainty of outcome for both the client and stakeholders

The construction of the Spring Hill Corrections Facility has given Mainzeal a leading-edge skill set to proceed with this model.

Other key initiatives now being undertaken by Mainzeal include:

  • leveraging of China connections through principal shareholder Richina Pacific Ltd and the new Free Trade Agreement

  • establishment of international supply chain, which will provide significant cost savings in materials

  • upgrade of software systems and processes, with a new state-of-the-art documentation management system that will assist in the integrated project team delivery process.

Mainzeal’s ability to adapt to a changing work environment has been a key strength for the past 40 years, and will continue to shape the direction of the company for years to come.
